Who knew running a crowdfunding campaign, designing and building a new brewery, opening a restaurant and running our old one could be so distracting?! Well we’ve been working super hard behind the scenes and making loads of progress – so it's high time for the first update!

Yesterday we sent out all our investor packs. This includes all the physical rewards that relate to your level of investment – your fancy investor certificate (the official one will come via Crowdcube), discount card, glassware and one-off investor beers. We’re super chuffed with the pale ale we have brewed specially for you. It’s basically a mini-One More PSI, loaded with mosaic hops for that retro mix of Juicy Fruit chewing gum and an 80s gym changing room. It’s tasting stellar. And we haven’t held back on the beautiful glassware either – but that’s a surprise for when you open up your pack.

The discount cards are ready to use at the brewery, at the Experiment (on Verdant beer only) and at the Seafood Bar (drinks only). For the online discount, simply put "Investors" in the in the discount code bar at checkout – this is assigned to your account so wont work for other email addresses and accounts. We have also sent out the invites to our promised brewery tours and parties, but neither of these have dates for the simple reason that we don’t know them yet…

…which leads us on to our second update – the new brewery! Things have been advancing pretty fast. We have a fully formed brewery design, which is going into production very soon and will be installed (fingers crossed) in October. In preparation for that we have already started work on the new building, which is shaping up slowly but very nicely indeed. We hope to have a fully functioning brewery by the end of November, but the taproom will be phase two and likely to open in the first quarter of 2020. We know that feels a long way off, but it is going to come round in no time for you and for us!

So that is all our news for now. As always, we will keep pumping out our beers in the best way we know how, and give updates whenever we can.
