"Its a thing!" Thats what Emily Mitchell (Brighton On Trade Legend and Co-Creator of the Independents Beer Crawl) and Joseph (Head of On Trade at Verdant) said to one another looking at a list of 22 independent Brighton venues who are taking part in our 3rd Annual Brighton Independent Beer Crawl. (November 28th - December 1st.)
Born out of a love for Indie venues in a truly independent city, the Independents Beer Crawl was started a couple of years ago by Emily Mitchell, Martha Page (Further Brighton Pub Royalty) and Joseph as a way of celebrating great Brighton pubs, shops and bars, great beer and chiefly the community feel that Brighton and its residents exude.
It’s a Thing (4.9%) is the hazy Pale Ale made in collaboration with Lewes legends Beak Brewery to celebrate the crawl and will be on the taps & fridges of all the venues on the Brighton Independents Crawl November 28th - December 1st.
Collect one of these maps (below) from any of the 22 venues, have a half or can of any Verdant or Beak beer and collect a stamp in order to enter a draw on Instagram for a bundle of prizes. The Crawl is across 4 days so no need to try and attempt this in on day, in fact we would advise against it, not only for safe drinking but also for your legs walking up all the hills!
6 stamps = 1 entry
12 stamps = 2 entries
18 stamps = 3 entries
22 stamps = 4 entires
Huge thank you goes out to Pigs Ears who facilitated all the deliveries and logistics getting all the beer from one seaside town all the way across the width of the country to another!
We will see you on the Crawl, November 28th - December 1st.
