Murky, thick, juicy and chewy. It’s like a packet of sherbet sweets drenched in tangy fruit layers cuddled by a comforting bready hug. Soft to drink with a slight creamy texture and medium dry finish, it’s tough to stop drinking it.
Roy I want a Hilux! Oh and an endless supply of this in my face, Orange juice pale ale. Not any old orange juice mind, that posh stuff with bits in and bubbles and yeast and loads and loads of the juiciest hops. Cheers Roy! (no oranges are in this beer)
A hazy pale ale packed with citrus and pine, it's bitter and sweet, all at the same time. Neck it or sup it, whichever is fine, this is your kink to drink, in your own time.
As pale as a 100w light bulb but as juicy as an IPA. Sessionable, quenching and totally addictive. Biscuity malt base with a hint of sweetness and dry finish, all drenched in fruity/dank hops.
Malts: Extra Pale Malt, Vienna, Oats, Caragold, Carapils.
Hops: Magnum, Simcoe.
Glowing orange colour. A beautifully balanced beer where the malts really help amplify the hops juicy qualities. Layers of flavour: tropical fruit, citrus fruit, stinky cheese, caramel all working together. Bitter and sweet. Lush.
Malts: Pale Ale Malt, Munich, Oats, Carapils, Pale Crystal.
Hops: Chinook, Citra, Columbus, Magnum, Mosaic.
Our India Pale Ale continues on from Headband but has a stripped back malt bill to really let the hops shine and a higher ABV that an IPA deserves. Think Blueberry muffins, dank, stinky and packed with juiciness with a good solid bitterness and slight malt sweetness.
Malts: Pale Ale Malt, Wheat, Caragold.
Hops: Columbus, Magnum, Mosaic.
Think pulped peppery mango flesh drenched in candied grapefruit juice with a hint of dank. There's a suitable bitter finish for the style that works with the dry finish to encourage another sip. As with all the other beers in our core range (Light Bulb, Headband, Bloom) we wanted to explore the brewing techniques of both the West and East coasts of America.
Verdant Brewing Co is the result of 3 mens needs to be drinking the beers they like. Adam & James started out as homebrewers and they decided that they wanted access to more hop forward beers, than they could get in any of their locals. So they started brewing in a shipping container in the Autumn of 2014, they now have their very own building and an additional brewer in Rich, a brewing capacity of 10bbl, with the ability to brew 3 times a week. This is small batch beer.
Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered hazy beers. You can find our beers in various locations across the South West as well as Northern Ireland, London and heading up to Leeds & Manchester. Head over to the availability page to find out more.
