In 2014, we started Verdant to make beers that we love. Nothing’s changed. It’s still about taste, quality, and all ’round deliciousness. Think juicy, hoppy, unfiltered, hazy beers that are always vegan! That’s us. We also love to explore from time to time, brewing lagers, stouts, cask ales... We’re independent, and always will be — that way we can continue to push boundaries and make beer we love, and hopefully, you will love them too.

Verdant began life back in Autumn 2014 when homebrewers Adam and James teamed up with Rich to craft US-inspired beers that weren’t available locally. Since then the team has continued to grow alongside the demand for our beer! We’re now a team of 40 people, all driven by the same passion. Our ethos revolves around brewing the flavour-packed beers we love to drink, and ensuring that beer lovers have access to delicious, quality-driven releases week after week. We are also proud to welcome and embrace all the diversity that this industry has to offer, anyone is welcome here at Verdant. We strive to ensure a workplace that is centred on inclusion and diversity.

Hoppy, juicy, hazy, unfiltered, vegan-friendly beers! When Verdant began to bloom, back in 2014, we decided that our focus would be hop-forward beers inspired by the New England craft beer scene. Over the past few years, we’ve become synonymous with hop-forward beer styles including Pale Ale, IPA & DIPA. We’ve placed an emphasis on balance and drinkability while taking inspiration from the beers of both the East and West Coasts of the United States. We also love exploring different styles and are regularly brewing Lagers, as well as luscious stouts over the winter period.

Our beers are stocked in multiple bottle shops and bars all around the country, but you can also order our freshest cans straight from us, using our webshop. New releases are available online at 10:30am, every Wednesday on the webshop. Follow us on socials to know what's going live, we are teasing the new cans on Tuesdays!
BUY BEER & MERCHOur Brewery
In January 2020, we moved from our old brewery site in Falmouth to a brand new facility in Penryn after a successful crowdfunding campaign. Over there, we have built a completely bespoke brew kit with the amazing team at SSV Limited. We have kept the brew length to a relatively modest 40hl, while ensuring the brewhouse is efficient enough that we can brew three times in 12 hours. We also package kegs and cans three to four times a week, whilst making sure our webshop is stocking our freshest release every Wednesday.
NEWS & COMMUNITYOur Venues
We love visiting brewery taprooms and have been to countless ones on our travels. But we want ours to be a little different, we want them to represent not just us, but the places they're found. Being based in Cornwall, a relaxed and good-life kind of place, the idea from the outset was to create a few cosy spaces with a Verdant touch. We now have 4 different venues: Verdant Taproom (Penryn), Schooners (St Agnes), The Seafood Bar and The Seaview Inn (Falmouth).
