We are super excited to announce our third major collaboration with TATE, celebrating their upcoming exhibition: "Frida: The making of an icon" (opening June 25th at TATE Modern) with not one, but TWO exclusive beers!
Following our previous collabs with them in 2023 and 2024, this year’s project feels truly special. Working closely with our friends at Tate, we dived deep into the heart and striking dualities of Frida Kahlo’s personal life and work, to create two distinct beers that reflect her vibrant world and work:
I Would Give Her Flowers | Mexican Lager (4.5%) A style we’ve wanted to brew for years. Inspired by Kahlo’s beloved sanctuary garden at La Casa Azul, this is crisp, clean, and beautifully bright. Expect a rounded malt body with a distinct flaked maize note, finished with a vibrant, natural, limey zing from Motueka hops.
Tender Thorns | IPA (6.5%) The classic, juicy Verdant companion piece representing the resilient outer shell of a cactus. It’s soft, ultra-sluggable, with a subtle bitterness and a big, pillowy body. Packed with Citra and Motueka hops, it delivers creamy limes for days!
