Join the Team
Verdant are on the hunt for another fine person to join the team. We need someone who is happy to come onboard and handle our sales as well as help with events.
We have four main channels from which we sell our beer. The brewery shop, the Web shop, local sales and distribution. We need someone who can can nurture the relationships we already have as well as make new ones, you will be asked to create new opportunities within Cornwall. We know we are not reaching our potential within the county and this role will play a big part in changing that.
You will need to make sure that the brewery shop is always open and ready for sales and feel welcoming. You will also need to make sure that web orders are packed and ready for dispatch, web customers have their questions answered and mistakes are handled with the upmost care and attention.
We are looking for someone to come with fresh ideas on how we can encourage more visitors to Falmouth, we will soon have our own Seafood Tapas Bar and this will be another draw to the town.
We need our distribution partners to have their stock delivered on time and in good condition. They require communication and to have a strong relationship with the right candidate. Our distribution partners are really important to us and we like to make sure that they are happy.
You will be asked to attend events around the country and sometimes abroad. You need to be confident representing the brewery & talking about beer. Often these events can be for a couple of nights. We like to share these around the team and you will be asked which events you would like to attend.
The new role will require some social media wizardry, keeping the public informed of new stock within all of our direct sales channels as well as the physical spaces.
Ideally the right candidate will already be successfully working within the modern beer industry, we really need someone who understands hoppy beer and what we are making. You need to be passionate about beer and passionate about what the beer scene represents, especially within Cornwall.
