Warehouse & Webshop Assistant Manager (Verdant Brewery, Penryn)
Penryn, Cornwall
40 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 8am–4pm)
Salary: From £27,600
About Verdant
Verdant began life in 2014 when homebrewers Adam, James, and Rich teamed up to brew the bold, US-inspired beers they couldn’t find locally. Fast forward to today, and Verdant is now known across the U.K. for hop-forward, flavour-packed Pale Ales, IPAs and DIPAs. We’re passionate about brewing the beer we love to drink – and making sure beer lovers everywhere can get their hands on it week after week.
Why this role matters
Our Warehouse & Web Shop team is the engine that gets Verdant beer from brewery to customer. As Warehouse & Webshop Assistant Manager, you’ll be right in the thick of it, overseeing online orders, keeping stock moving, and making sure every box that leaves our site is packed with the same care that goes into our beer.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone organised, energetic, and passionate about beer to step into a key role in a growing brewery.
What you’ll be doing
• Leading the picking, packing, and order-building process
• Handling logistics (DPD procedures, national/local orders, collections)
• Preparing for the next day: pallet consolidating, box making, merchandise processing
• Overseeing stock control, rotation, and reporting
• Using e-commerce platforms (Zenstores & Shopify)
• Delivering excellent customer service via email & order support
• Keeping the Web Shop area clean, organised, and efficient
• Working closely with the Webshop Manager to streamline workflows
What we’re looking for
• Previous warehouse experience (if possible)
• A passion for craft beer
• Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
• Comfortable using IT systems and learning new platforms
• A positive team player who can work to deadlines
• Clear and consistent communicator
• Based in Cornwall or open to relocating

Pizza Chef - Verdant Taproom (Penryn)

Hours: 45 hours a week over five days. A mix of early and late shifts
Pay: £13.30 an hour
Location: Verdant Taproom, Penryn
We’re on the lookout for a full-time chef to come and join our team of Pizza Legends at the Taproom!
We work with some fantastic local, artisanal and regenerative producers, allowing us to be creative and work as seasonally as possible with our pizza.

We’re looking to expand the kitchen team at our newest opening, a relaxed seafood restaurant and bar, right on the water in beautiful Flushing, Cornwall. Verdant Brewing Co needs a talented chef who can cook seafood exceptionally well and deliver that perfect dish every single time.
What You’ll Do:
● Prepare and cook fresh seafood, along with steak, vegetable dishes and desserts
● Keep the kitchen spotless and exceed food safety standards
● Thrive during busy service while maintaining exceptional quality
What You Need
● Solid experience cooking seafood in professional kitchens
● Sharp eye for seafood freshness and proper handling
● Ability to stay cool under pressure while producing brilliant food
● Commitment to following recipes precisely - consistency is king
● Food safety certificate (Level 2 or equivalent)
● Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and busy holiday periods
Even Better If You Have
● Hands-on experience with live crab, lobster, scallops, mussels and prawns
● Background in quality seafood restaurants
● Knowledge of Cornwall’s incredible seafood scene
